Course Description

OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification Course

Delivered in person and taught exclusively by OSHA-authorized Outreach Trainers, this highly interactive course provides practical, high-impact safety training. Participants will learn to: 

• Spot common workplace hazards before they become incidents
• Reduce risk and improve day-to-day safety practices
• Understand OSHA rules that apply to your operation
• Build stronger safety leadership on the floor

Compliance:
• Meets all federal OSHA Outreach Training Program requirements

Credentials Upon Completion:
• Official U.S. Department of Labor OSHA 30-Hour General Industry card
• Athens Technical College Certificate of Completion for employer training records and professional recognition

• Additional OSHA-required topics

Laptop Requirement:

Participants should bring a laptop for accessing OSHA.gov resources and completing in-class activities. If you do not have one, we will provide a laptop for use during the course. Please let us know in advance if you need one.


Meals & Logistics:

• Light snacks, coffee, and water provided daily
• One-hour lunch break (lunch on your own)
• Participants are welcome to bring additional snacks or beverages
